Education - What exactly is it?

Tony Blair has banged on about education for many generating a massive statement with one of these damning words 'education, education, education'. It is extremely easily said and maybe understood by a few but doesn't this differ from individual to individual and from society to society?

There are many issues involved defining the term education. Generally, Oposiciones.pw is described as planning to school, then college or university and thereafter finding a job. Obviously, passing of exams reflects how clever a person is. However, do exams reflect how intelligent a person is and have we being a society attached a label to it? It needs to be noted that many people are 'academically' bright. With this, I am talking about they're enthused by learning theory at schools and focus challenging for exams then pass getting pretty high grades. Alternatively, it should be taken to attention that academically intelligent people may lack intelligence in other fields. Perhaps you have looked at that? As an example, an individual who gets high grades for exams may not have the social skills needed for the 'real world'. So doesn't this imply their studies were a waste of time? Can we must study very difficult and acquire a's and b's to get the title 'intelligent'? After all, if we look at historical figures, did they go to school? Did inventors start similar to this. These are the questions we need to ask ourselves.

For me personally, being a student at postgraduate level, We have met many individuals from around the globe. Using this experience I have learned that the way intelligence is measured in this modern society is one thing to be concerned about. From medical doctors to cleaning staff, I have met an array. Using this, I'm able to conclude the way intelligence is measured in society is worrying. People with degrees are working in areas with no relevance with their area of interest and individuals are constantly being employed for reasons other than their academic qualifications. Therefore, are schools preparing us for that big bad world? A solution we can receive considering what exactly is happening around us. I know feel that 'intelligence' is measured within the wrong way. In the end, academic qualifications are purely based on gaining a title which sticks with wherever we go but our minds are continuously picking up information, ideas, you name it..from people we meet and interact with. Furthermore, countries high is no formal institution to teach does not imply how the individuals that society are uneducated but perhaps more educated as they must gain skills with no type of guidance from 'so-called' professional bodies which, let's face it, aren't always one of the most brightest.
